I have been practicing law for nearly 35 years, and I have worked successfully as a sole practitioner for almost 30 of those years. I choose to limit my legal practice to the representation of victims of personal injury because I am passionate about defending the rights of those who have been unjustly injured due to the negligence of others.
I also believe that my years of building an extensive knowledge base in this area and establishing an efficiency in case preparation balanced with a high degree of professionalism are qualities most advantageous to my clients. I focus my practice almost exclusively on personal injury cases, so I am familiar with the procedures and caseload involved in the handling of this concentration.
I primarily practice in the counties of Bucks, Montgomery and Berks, as well as in Federal Court in the State of Pennsylvania. The majority of my cases arise out of motor vehicle accidents or slip and fall incidents.
Because I am a sole practitioner, my clients don't endure the run-around sometimes found with large firms. My clients count on me to be with them through the entire legal process - all the way to the finish line. It is what my clients have come to expect and appreciate.
Just because I'm a sole practitioner, doesn't mean I run a one-man show. Often cases demand a collaboration from medical doctors, engineers and vocational experts as well as from clients' family, friends and coworkers. I analyze all aspects of a case to get the best outcome for my client and in the interest of justice.
My peers have long recognized me for my legal expertise and highest ethical standards.

Each and every year since 2005, I have been selected as a top lawyer by Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers through a rigorous process of peer nominations and evaluations and third party research. Its final selection list is limited to no more than 5% of lawyers in the state each year. For more information on the Super Lawyers process, visit their website here.

I have also earned the AV Preeminent Rating (5.0 out of 5.0) by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings, the highest level of professional excellence of its kind for my ethical standards and legal abilities. For more information on the Martindale-Hubbell ratings process, visit their website here.
In addition, I have received certification as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, an agency approved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, in part upon recognition by my peers and upon other qualifications, including good standing in practice, substantial involvement in civil trial law and a written examination. For more information regarding these certification criteria and others, visit their website here.
I believe that every attorney should work on behalf of his or her client guided by the following principles:
- Maintain the highest standards for ethical conduct
- Keep the client informed of all aspects of the case without overwhelming him or her
- Demonstrate sustained enthusiasm for a client's case and be realistic about the potential result
- Protect the rights of clients and promote the cause of justice
